Mr. D. K. Chandekar is a highly accomplished brewing industry leader with over 39 years of experience, including senior leadership roles across 11 large-scale (mega) breweries. With a proven track record in top management positions, he brings a powerful blend of strategic vision, technical mastery, and operational excellence to the Brewery Division.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Chandekar has held key leadership roles such as General Manager and Senior Factory Manager, Green Field Project Incharge with leading organizations including SABMiller, Sikkim Breweries, Yuksom Breweries Group and Sunit Breweries, Assam. He is widely recognized for driving high-performance operations, optimizing production systems, and delivering consistent business growth in competitive markets.

A specialist in end-to-end brewery operations, Mr. Chandekar has successfully led the commissioning of greenfield brewery projects in Sikkim and Assam, showcasing his expertise in project execution, plant setup, and rapid capacity scaling. His ability to transform operations is reflected in measurable achievements, including improving brewhouse yield from 65% to 69% and reducing bottling beer losses from 5.5% to 1.5% .

His strong technical foundation is supported by advanced international training, including Brewing & Distilling programs associated with Heriot-Watt University (Scotland) and Brewing Science training at CFTRI, Mysore. He also holds global certifications in Environmental Management from SABMiller and has been recognized as an “Advanced Taster” through specialized beer sensory programs.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Chandekar played a key role in a strategic consultancy project with McKinsey & Company for Shaw Wallace & Co., where he conducted multi-location operational audits and implemented performance-driven strategies that significantly enhanced profitability.

Director – International Business | Senior Distillery & Brewery Operations Professional

A results-driven senior professional and Alcohol Technologist from the National Sugar Institute, complemented by TQM (Total Quality Management) certification from IIT Kharagpur, with over 22 years of extensive experience in alcoholic beverage manufacturing across India and international markets.

Mr. Kumar brings deep expertise in blending, bottling, quality management, and end-to-end process optimization. His global experience spans leadership roles with renowned organizations such as Pernod Ricard, SABMiller, Diageo, Haddad Distillery (Jordan), and Golden Oak Distillers Ltd. (UK).

He possesses a strong command over production planning, cost optimization, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), supply chain integration, and regulatory compliance aligned with international standards including ISO, FSSC, HACCP, GMP, and global food safety frameworks. He is recognized for delivering operational excellence through efficient plant management, continuous improvement initiatives, and robust quality systems.

Mr. Kumar has a proven track record in new product development, sensory evaluation, large-scale plant operations, and project execution. He is an effective leader known for building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and enhancing overall organizational performance.

In his current role with Brew Tech Global, he contributes strategically to international business development, technical advisory, and operational excellence initiatives across global markets.

Currently associated with Brew Tech Global, he drives excellence across manufacturing, plant commissioning, and end-to-end brewery operations on a global scale.

Having worked with leading organizations such as AB InBev and Cobra Indian Beers, Mr. Joshi combines deep technical expertise with strategic operational leadership. He is widely recognized for successfully executing greenfield and brownfield brewery projects, playing a key role in establishing, commissioning, and optimizing world-class brewing facilities while ensuring seamless scale-up and long-term operational efficiency.

His expertise spans the entire brewing value chain—from raw material selection and yeast management to fermentation, filtration, packaging, and quality assurance. He consistently delivers high-volume production targets while maintaining the highest standards of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Swapnil Metkar is a highly accomplished Senior Winemaker and Wine Production Expert with over 15 years of domestic and international experience in commercial wine production, winery establishment, quality management, and product development. Having worked across India, New Zealand, and the United States, he combines global winemaking practices with strong technical expertise to deliver premium-quality wines and efficient winery operations.

Throughout his distinguished career, Swapnil has held key winemaking and production roles with leading organizations including Sula Vineyards, Moët Hennessy India, Takai Winery, and Seven Peaks Winery. His extensive experience covers the complete winemaking cycle, from vineyard assessment and grape processing to fermentation management, blending, stabilization, filtration, bottling, and quality assurance. He has successfully developed and produced a wide range of products, including red wines, white wines, fruit wines, sparkling wines, and mead, consistently meeting the highest quality standards.

As a technical wine specialist, Swapnil has successfully supported winery setup, production optimization, and product development projects for clients across India.
